Robotic tankinspection | No man entry system
UC Investments presents a patented inspection system that can enter a tanks or pipe without man entry with a diameter or access of 100 mm and larger. The robotic tankinspection is equipped with two engines enabling stepless forward and reversing. The control is based on waterstering additional grouding provide an ATEX zone 2 system. The system provides a special inspection for damage and corrosion.
Tankviewer 4’’
The robot consists of a drive with a motor allowing stepless forward/reversing is possible. The robot uses polyurethane wheels. For extra stability it is possible to mount magnetic magnetic wheels or tracks, this makes it possible to drive up walls or along ceilings.
The robot is equipped with cameras and an ultrasonic probe fitted in the head of the robot. The sensor will be pushed against the wall with an air cylinder for measuring the wall thickness, contactfluid is injected to make contact insuring accurate measurements. The camera next to the ultrasonic probe enables an image of the measurement. The measurement value can be monitored real-time via a data connection with the control-unit, where possibly a inspection report can be generated.
